Mason and James were a joy to work with during their wedding planning process! They said their vows in the Fall of 2019 at Hummingbird House just south of Austin, Texas. The wedding design included natural garden elements combined with shades of purple from lavender to plum. Hummingbird House embodies a lovely garden landscape. It was easy to use their lush gardens as part of the design. We added textured florals, elegance, and comfort to the space to make it unique for the couple.
Mason and James met at school in Pennsylvania. They went from studying together, chatting nightly, and then dating. This is what they call “the beginning of the end!” James proposed on a moonlight kayaking trip on the Tennessee River and then they incorporated that love of outdoors in their wedding.
Hummingbird House has the perfect tented reception space that is surrounded by glass panels to bring the outside inside. It was easy to just add accents to turn a naturally beautiful space into an elegant, beautiful wedding reception. We wish Mason and James a marriage that exceeds the happiness they shared on their wedding day and brings love, adventure, and laughter!
We had an all-star vendor to create and capture the day as well! Vendors included The Bird & The Bear Photography & Films, Hummingbird House, Petals, Ink Floral, Royal Fig Catering, London Calling Band, Sweet Treets Bakery, Erica Gray Beauty, Premiere Event Rentals, Bee Lavish Vintage Rentals, ILD Lighting, and The Paper Place.
