Weddings in Austin and the Texas Hill Country are dependent on the weather, just as they are anywhere. Our winter is usually very mild, though January and February give us the highest chance of the worst of the cold and gray skies. Emily and Chris knew they didn’t want a hot wedding date in the hill country, so they were more willing to risk the cold. Their wedding took place on February 16th at Pecan Grove in Driftwood and was absolutely beautiful! The weather was very mild during the day and cooled off some after dark. They had soft, lush flowers to brighten the winter skies, but the brightest light of the day was the love this bride and groom shared together. They were surrounded by family and friends and enjoyed every moment from their sentimental and intimate ceremony, to enjoying Salt Lick BBQ, to engaging toasts, and then dancing the night away. It was my pleasure to meet this amazing couple and my honor to be part of their special wedding day. All my best to the both of them!
